Bleeding after IUD removal

I had my mirena removed 3 days ago and I’ve been bleeding and cramping like if I were on my period even though I’m not due to have my period for a few weeks. My doctor mentioned cramping could happen but didn’t say anything about bleeding. Everything I read online says it’s normal as long as it doesn’t last more than a few days. Did anyone else have some similar reactions?
