Is it too early to tell my loved ones?

We did not believe it to be true!!!!! Feeling super blessed and excited. We want to tell the family, but I’m only 5 weeks. Should we wait? It’s killing us to keep it inside 😩😩😩😩

We told close family right away. And that way also if anything happens there is a support system. People you can talk to and can help you grieve.

I agree with a lot of others here. We’re all adults and it’s understood that the first trimester is critical. It helps take the stigma away from miscarriage to just tell whomever it feels right to tell, you know? That way you have your support system in place for better or for worse. So many early miscarriages are just your body doing what it’s supposed to by eliminating non-viable pregnancies at the start that I think the more we open up and talk about them, the less wary people will be of sharing the news whenever it feels right—not just “after a certain point.” Things can happen at absolutely any point! I’m working through that fear by just celebrating each new day and not worrying about what if something happens. This is a beautiful time! Tell your loved ones! 💕

We told family right away! I had a previous loss and support of family is the only thing that got me through it.

I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow and have only told my husband and my sister so I have my small support group if anything happens. He told his sister so he had someone to talk to as well but we’re the only 4 who knows and it’s killing me! Lol I wanna shout it at the world! But I’m also so afraid something bad will happen before that first scan then EVERYONE will be asking about it and it will be too sad. So I’m trying to hold off until that 3 month mark! It’s hard!

Definitely up to you. I’m steaming to tell people because I’m so excited but I’m waiting because I’m a bit on the private side. I don’t want to talk about it if something goes wrong and I also really want to enjoy this time navigating this journey with my partner without others weighing in or giving advice so early
