What’s it like being induced?

Is there anything I need to know that is concerning?

I just had an awesome Induction experience at 39+1. It was all very smooth. Labored with pitocin for a while and used nitrous oxide to take the edge off then eventually got the epidural which worked amazingly. 3 pushes and he was out! Would definitely do it again but I can’t speak to an unmediated induction.

For me it was a hellish three day ordeal, my body wasn't ready at all. Generally though, pitocin contractions are way harder to cope with than natural birth contractions. For example, I just had my second last week and accidentally showed up to the hospital at 10cm dilated because I didn't think I was in enough pain to be that far along.
