This might be TMI. But I’ve been spotting dark blood since Friday the 16th. I’m just now getting actually red blood today the 19th. When should I document the starting date of my period? I’m so confused 😵‍💫

I have the same problem. I always start spotting 3-4 before actual red blood. I wasn’t sure how to track it either and if it’ll throw up actual ovulation dates. Second month trying to conceive and nothing hopefully 3rd times the charm. Good luck

I think it’s okay to keep it logged the way it is. If you no longer experience any bleeding the 23rd then you’re fine! But if you go through the 25th still bleeding then me personally, would change the start date to 19th and just log light spotting from 16th-18th. Id log your flow throughout your period, it helps me differentiate what’s out of the usual throughout my cycle in moments like this.

You mean dark like brown ? I normally count my period the day I have to wear a tampon or pad.
