Sushi ?!

I’ve been craving sushi like crazy and was planning on just waiting till baby girl was here but now I’ve found that there is pregnancy safe sushi and I was wondering if anyone else has ate sushi while pregnant or knows if this is true or not ?! If this is safe I would love to be able to eat sushi again!

I had sushi today. And every week for the last 3 months lol. The issue isn’t sushi itself, it’s raw fish and risk or contamination. I go to a place I’ve been going to for 10 years and I’ve never had an issue with spoiled food. I trust this place to be fresh and have proper food handling protocols. Go for it! Just don’t get it at like a gas station lol

Here Sushi is on the pregnancy safe list, actually recommend, even the raw types - as long as it's from a reputable place.

Anything cooked is safe. That being said I still eat some raw fish while pregnant and my doctor is 100% on board. As long as it’s from a reputable place, your body is used to it and it wasn’t everyday she was okay with me eating it. And it was soooo good 😁😁

I have been eating sushi almost every week 🤤 usually California or crunchy rolls, but I can’t wait until I can have real sushi again.

You can eat any sushi when pregnant as long as you’re going to a reputable place. The key is you don’t want to get a bacterial food poisoning which technically can occur from any foods from lettuce to ice cream to sushi. But as long as you’re eating from a decent, clean place then you’re fine!

Sushi has been my special treat. Nobody wants to go with preggo to eat sushi. I take a book during the slow times, sit near the sushi bar and just try new rolls and sashimi by myself. Very peaceful 🧘🏻‍♀️

I’ve had sushi probably 5x thus far in pregnancy! I personally opted for only cooked fish/ crab/ eel/ shrimp/ etc but I have friends who eat raw even no problem. I personally would stick with cooked tho just to be extra safe. Make sure it’s a reputable place!
