Birthday gifts

Alright so like… i’m wondering if anyone can relate to this or has some advice.

I’ve noticed that my bf sometimes gets me gifts that are related to hobbies he likes. And of course i’m always appreciative of them all but I kinda wonder does he even know me at all?? He tells me straight up if he doesn’t like a gift, but I struggle with that a bit bc i’m quieter. For example, he gets me all this gaming stuff. It worries me bc his ex gf was a gamer. I play some games but i’m way more of the girly girl. It makes me kinda sad. I know he loves me and he’s over his ex but it’s like scaring me a bit..
