Kind of random?? Need opinions

So I went to Target tonight and I always shop their and I love Target.I always feel like they treat their customers good.I first had a return and they were giving me a hard time about it and I am always shopping there and most of my money goes to target, but I just let it go the thing that bothered me was I walking down the aisle and over heard a worker the same lady that was at the service desk talking on her walkie,but it was loud enough for anyone to hear, and she said that homeless lady is here again hiding out in the pharmacy bathroom.First Of all even if she is homeless it’s very rude to refer to someone as that homeless lady. The way she was talking about her was like she was looking down on her like she was better than her. It just really bothered me because we’re all the same and we don’t know what anybody has been through and what their struggles are.It just gave me an uneasy feeling and even the cashier was treating her different, so am I overthinking it or was that just really Inconsiderate?I am thinking about calling the manager tomorrow.

Let it go people need to give customer service people a break. You yourself are acting like you are better than the employees. We have plenty of frequent customers we deal with and know more about than you. Yes we are going to roll our eyes and complain to are coworkers about said people when they come back in.

Yeah, you're overthinking it..If they don't know her name then "homeless lady" is the best description she can get. I worked at Target when I was in High School and the homeless people hiding out in the bathrooms was a huge issue. They were either getting high, using it as a washroom or hiding out until the store closes. I'm not saying that what this women was doing but when it's happening so often you have to be vigilant

When I worked retail we had homeless people come in and almost die in our bathroom several times. I promise you those people barely making minimum wage want to deal with that. It's just a sad reality and a potential safety hazard for everyone. Cut them some slack, most of the time they don't even want to uphold these policies but they have to do their job.

That is a tough situation but that could also be potentially unsafe for customers if someone is “hiding out” for whatever reason. It’s not a homeless shelter nor is it the right environment for that type of care. If she is a frequent visitor (and it seems she is) there could be reoccurring problems wich is why she was referred to in that sense, many jobs do that to clarify to employees the situation and who needs to handle it. I understand how it might be insensitive, but you also don’t know the situation and what has led up to this. Speaking about it over the radios might be for employees safety

You’re overthinking it. It’s an unfortunate part of a lot of customer service jobs to have to enforce policies that are uncomfortable, such as not allowing people to loiter whether homeless or not. Many places end up with high homeless populations and it becomes a regular occurrence to have to turn away the same person on a regular basis. 
It’s uncomfortable, it’s unpleasant. I had to deal with it often when I worked for a sandwich shop where we had 3 or 4 people living in the wooded area behind it. But often it’s a matter of safety too. Having someone, anyone, hiding in the bathrooms is a safety risk in general.

You could call management and ask for employees to wear headphones. I know our target has those so customers don't hear what is being said. I wouldn't complain about what was being said, just that customers don't want to overhear about issues within the store. It's not very professional.
