How do you know they are done breastfeeding?

First time mom here. My son is just getting distracted and will eat for 5 seconds and pull off and look around the room. Sometimes getting him to Latch has been a struggle, I have to squirt him in the mouth for him to realize I'm trying to feed him and he immediately latches after that. We started oatmeal this week and he's loving it.. I'm hoping it's not the end to our breastfeeding journey ❤ thanks in advance for any words of encouragement!

I don’t think it sounds like the end! I would maybe try a designated feeding spot that has minimal distractions (if possible). Maybe the rocker in the nursery. That way baby will eventually connect that spot to eating and be able to stay focused! It also will pass and baby will def eat when he is hungry!
