My dad is getting a total hip replacement tomorrow and I’m nervous for him just because surgery scares me and I don’t want anything to go wrong. How bad is the surgery and recovery? What could I do to help him out afterwards? He’s been in a lot of pain due to his joints so I know he needs this surgery, I just really don’t want him to get it. And if you guys wouldn’t mind and are religious saying a prayer for him please, if not I appreciate good wishes as well🙏 thank you.

Update: Thank you all so much for your reassurance! It definitely helped me calm down, I suffer with anxiety so I was really nervous at first. He got his surgery today and he’s doing great! It was outpatient surgery so he’s getting ready to come home now ☺️
