First time OPK negative to peak?

This is my first cycle using OPK. Using the clear blue digital, I had a negative yesterday afternoon around 2. This morning at 10 am I got a solid smiley  which it says means peak.
Wondering if it’s normal to skip the blinking smile. Obviously I’ll BD tonight but wondering if I missed the general fertile window and is tonight our only real shot? Better to BD tonight and tomorrow or tonight and then Saturday?

Bd tonight and tomorrow, + morning after tomorrow. Your solid is today which means you ovulate tomorrow. 
The first time you use the cb advanced, it will always be an empty/negative circle even if you actually have your surge. It can only show you a smiley the second time you use it, it's weird but that's how this thing works🤪. So it could be that it would've shown a flashing smiley first, if you did it yesterday some hours later.

I’ve heard it’s best to have as much sex as you can days leading up to your period. Ovulation is when that egg is dropping down you want sperm to be there.
