Ok, so I have this situation with a family name. I am pregnant and we have chosen a name we like its a family name after my husbands grandmother. He had mentioned to his sister and mom that he wants to use this name and his sister is now mad. But she is not pregnant and doesn't know if she will get pregnant (fertility) or if she will have a girl( she has a son). Is it wrong to still use the name? Its my husband grandmother too. We would have no problem either if she had a girl and used the name too. I have a bunch of family with the same namesakes and my husband family does too so i would be normal for two cousins to have the same name. I would be really upset if she never had a girl and nobody got to use the name. I dont know if I am being insensitive or not?
