Is 4 pounds 1 oz normal for baby at 33 weeks?

I went for my ultrasound at high risk yesterday and I was told she weighs that...I know they can be off ...but my mom in law said that’s too small how many weeks do you have left? I said 6 weeks left til I’m 39 weeks and the ob said that’s when he will deliver her ...anyone else be told that and baby came out more as in 6 pounds etc? Thank you

Id say definitely normal. All my babes were born very healthy at 5lbs at 38/39 weeks.

My friend just had her baby at 34 weeks due to complications and the baby was 4lb 2oz and they were happy with that delivery weight. All baby do at this point is get bigger really and you have plenty of time left for her to grow

You still got plenty of time ! That's a very good weight I would say since you have 7 weeks left around this time they hit a grow spurt anyway and they start gaining weight!

The last 6 weeks, babies gain 1/2 pound a week on average, as long as you don't have IUGR (it could be lower) or gestational diabetes (it could be higher). But the average "on target" for 33 weeks is 4.25 pounds. It seems she's right within the range she should be. Don't worry about it, she sounds fine.

My first daughter was born at exactly 34 weeks and she weighed 4lbs 15oz. Id say its pretty normal 😊

Yeah my last pregnancy they said baby weighed on the smaller side to be I think I was like 38 weeks she was 5 pounds and something ...when she was born she was 6 pounds and something 😅 so she still had 6 weeks to gain weight and I know it’s nothing on my end because I’m eating all the time...her dad is 6 feet so I’m like well I guess she might take after me 😅😅I’m 4”11 so maybe 😅

I went in yesterday for my 32 week scan and the estimated baby to be at 4lbs also. They said it’s on the smaller side, 26th percentile for the week. She also said that it compared on track to my last pregnancies that my body makes smaller babies. Maybe you are similar? 
I asked if there was anything to do to help the baby put on more weight and she said no. 
This is my 4th pregnancy and my 3 prior have all be around 6lbs. My last @ 39 weeks was 6lbs 10 ounces.

My son weighed 4lb 8 oz at 31 weeks and now weighs 5lbs 13oz at 34 weeks! 
He is a big boy though

I feel like it’s normal still have plenty of time to grow. My baby was 4lb 9oz at my 30w4 day ultrasound and he is big and measuring two weeks ahead so 🤷🏼‍♀️
