When are you mamas planning on taking maternity leave from work? I work at a hospital and on my feet all day. My legs and feet kill me at the end of the day now and I’m so exhausted. 😩

The day before my c section will be my last day. I will tough it out until then.

I’m being induced at 39 weeks on a Friday and my last day of work (if all goes as planned) will be the Monday before Ain’t trying to use up my maternity leave before I give birth 😂 I’m due in the end of October and I want thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years off. But I work from home so I don’t care that much.

I'm officially starting my paid maternity leave at 37w but I'll be finishing at 35w and taking two weeks of personal leave first. 
I'm lucky I have the means to do this and my govt supports me to take 12 months off (only 18w is paid, the rest is on govt carer payments) but tbh I would finish tomorrow if I could 😂

Sameeeeee. I’m so shot already and still have 11 weeks until baby comes. I might slow down on picking up extra hours because I really want to stay as long as I can to be out for as long as I can after. Fortunately the union allows me to take up to 2 years leave. UNfortunatley after 6 week maternity leave and the 12 weeks FMLA you have to use your time and once your out of time you don’t get paid anymore. I already used most of my time being out sick with HG. So I’m trying to bank some back up again for leave. But I agree. It’s killer being on my feet all day. Walking, pushing the cart, & constantly bending over the pts. bed.
