Would you cut them off? Or was I overreacting ?

I just had my son 3 1/2 months ago and, of course, everyone was excited - including my paternal grandparents. They have wanted to see him since we brought him home but I have been hesitant. My grandma is an addict and drinks/vapes 24/7 and has been in the hospital multiple times since he’s been born - sometimes multiple times in one week - due to falls and pill overdoses. So bad they had to put her in a coma and she almost died. One day I was trying to be nice and had family in my ear so I said they could come visit if my grandma stayed sober and my grandpa denied that she has any addiction issues and told me they wouldn’t see him since I asked. I told my dad and siblings just so that we could all be on the same page.

A week later, my aunt - who lives out of state and has been pushing for me to visit them, even while my grandma was in the hospital - saw me ask someone else to visit and said I should let my grandparents. I messaged her privately and told her what happened. Then a few days later, she messaged me a really long message saying how I’m “spreading rumors” (even tho I have screenshots??), how I’m overreacting, how my grandparents “deserve better”, how they have other grandkids who haven’t been hurt by them, how my grandparents are just getting “misunderstood”, just a bunch of really bizarre shit. We argued and I told her that they can blame her for not being allowed to visit and blocked her.

Now she’s all in my Facebook trying to kiss ass. I know it’s fake and I wanna tell her to fuck herself. But I have cousins from her and I miss getting updates about them. A little girl at my work looks like her and it makes me miss them😕
