When did you tell your family you were pregnant?

I told my mum, ex bf, 2 best friends right away I was 17 so my situation could be a bit different. But I didn’t fully announce it until about 15 weeks. (:

We told immediate family around 10 weeks after hearing the heartbeat and then told extended family and friends at 14 weeks once we were in 2nd trimester.

Told them after the first scan at 8 weeks when we heard the heartbeat.

Told my dad, mom, in laws and siblings right away. We will be telling the rest of our family once I’ve heard the heartbeat on a Doppler and reach the second trimester. I’m 8 weeks 4 days and have seen the heartbeat on ultrasound 🥰.

My husband and I tried to keep it a secret as long as possible (personal family reasons) but my dad suspected something first when we were visiting and so we had to tell him that day! Haha

My in laws knew right away. I waited to tell my family until after our first ultrasound which was at 9 weeks. Most of my friends/coworkers knew around 6 weeks because with my job its impossible to hide it lol
