Sorry this is kinda long. The last 7 months have been a roller coaster.

I had a miscarriage in Dec of 2020 after an embryo transfer, 2 days later my sister announced she was pregnant with her third child. Have bloodwork my hcg gets down to below 5 and we are able to have an embryo transfer in March that did not work at all.

We had a transfer the end of May. It worked but the day before my ultrasound to confirm heart beat I had cramping and passed something. Went in to the the ultrasound and they said they could not see anything and checked my beta and told weekly beta checks until below 5. That evening I got a call from my OB saying the beta was to high for what was seen on the ultrasound and that I needed to come back in, in 2 days. That day I get a call to come in asap because my numbers had gone up even more. I got an ultrasound Tech who didn't look at why I was there and processed to ask why I would come back for another ultrasound so close to the first one. See the on call OB as mine is out that day and was told he can see a sac and I may need a D&C. During this same week my sister has the baby she announced 2 days after my first miscarriage. At this point I'm thinking it cant get much worse. Move on to the next week have my beta checked again it's up even higher, make an appointment with my OB for the next day. That night I started bleeding so bad I woke my husband up at 12:30 am to take me to the ER, have bloodwork and an ultrasound and told I'm fine it just the miscarriage. Go in and see my OB and and was told that based on the the bloodwork from the ER my number started to drop and the ultrasound is looking better so at this point I don't need a D&C back to weekly bloodwork. Go a week later it's dropped so much my OB said she thinks I'm out of the woods on a D&C. Next week it drops but not as much I as was hoping for but enough the doctor says still weekly beta tests. I'm now to this week, I go Tuesday afternoon have my bloodwork, by noon Wednesday I still have not heard from the doctor office so I call and leave a message. 25 minutes later I get a call my number is higher then it was 2 weeks ago and I won myself another ultrasound then tells me to get there asap. I have the ultrasound and see my OB she says there is something there and I need the D&C but my husband and I request repeat bloodwork just to make sure there's not a new pregnancy (chances were low but wanted to be safe with everything happening) confirmed Thursday I need a D&C its scheduled for and preformed yesterday.

And to add the icing to the cake yesterday July 23rd was the due date of the baby I lost in December.
