Itchy vagina postpartum after episiotomy and stitches, normal?

So im 2 weeks postpartum and I had a episiotomy and tearing so lots of stitches down there. 
Im barely bleeding anymore just wearing a thin pad and get spotting here and there. BUT im extremely itchy down there. I cant itch obviously cause I dont want to hurt any remaining stitches. 
I read online that it can be normal and it means my stitches are healing. Anyone had this as well? Also a bit of a strange smell going on (not foul but just unusual for me) but I was told that’s also normal postpartum?

I remember the itching and the smell. Everything was normal. Dermoblast helped with the itching and showers helped with the smell.

I can’t say I remember there being a smell but the itching definitely. I mad a few “padsicles” and froze them so I could put them on when I felt uncomfortable. It helps.
