When should you refinance …

Question

So I was wondering when should one refinance home and what is a good reason or benefit .
Pros and cons 
I was wondering if this was a good idea to do before discussing with my husband.
Only have been in our home for one year. 
Rate is 3.25
Plan on selling in 7-8 years.

If u plan on selling I wouldn’t refinance. If u chose to refinance you pay All closing costs and bank fees again which where I’m at are upwards of $10,000 or more. If u had a super high interest rate and monthly payment, and rates went down, then it may be worth refinancing for long term. But since u plan on selling the home I wouldn’t go through all of that when ur interest rate is fairly good right now. If they aren’t offer super low rates from what ur getting already (like 2.5% or less) u aren’t going to benefit from refinancing.
