I have a feeling he wants to break up but can’t let go

Worst day. And tomorrow I start my new job. I honestly feel like I’m falling into depression

My bf and I argued Saturday night. Today he didn’t reach out. I sent him a text 2 hours ago saying “ are you busy or what? “ I felt kinda agressive so 2 min later said “sorry I did not mean it aggressively but I’m bothered you don’t have the time to shoot me a text. I don’t like the silent treatment”

No answer. I had dinner with a guy friend just right now. My bf knows him too so I don’t feel like I’m disrespecting him. My friend said it seems like he is a coward. He said it seems like he is just over me and just doesn’t know how to let go. He doesn’t want to be one breaking up. It really hurt. My friend said he may even have options already and just wanting to push you away so I’m the one that breaks up😭😭
