I personally would because we've discussed it extensively AND I have done a lot of inner work on myself so I'm at a healthy mental state to do so. Threesomes are not for every couple. It HAS to come from EVERYONE involved for it to work. If there's even one person that isn't convinced it's what they want, if there's even one person with ulterior motives or even one person that isn't romantically interested in the other two people involved then it shouldn't happen. There also should be a courting period where you and your partner, or the couple of you're the single joining, must have dates all together to see if you all mesh well together. Dates as in multiple not just one or two and they should be spaced out over a few weekends at the very least. There should be at least one where everyone can voice their concerns, set boundaries, resolve any lingering issues and talk about aftercare for each person involved so they all feel included and not used. It's a lot of work and tons of prep work that inexperienced couples tend to miss and that leads to heartache and break ups.
