Question

When is is okay to have Sex again? Has anyone had sex since they had their baby yet and if so how many weeks post partum was is? Lol I just can't wait to have normal sex with my hubby again!

They say to wait until after you visit your doctor at your 6 week appointment to get the all clear.

We started back up at 3 weeks postpartum. My doc said I could at 2 weeks

Ive wanted to so bad but my tear is still SO sore and swollen. Im worried it will be longer than 6 weeks before I'm healed enough to have sex.

7 weeks and I doubt we'll do it soon. I'm mostly healed but have had a string of infections. Also my pelvic floor is a disaster right now, and I'm not really in the mood anyway. Luckily my husband is understanding.

I had sex at three weeks! I didn't have any rips or tears . I had my pp visit at three weeks. I stopped bleeding a week after delivery and I breastfeed my daughter.

I heard 6 weeks, I had complications from too many sutures and an infection caused by the doctor who delivered me leaving a surgical sponge in 😐 so as much as I'm feeling great now and definitely have my sex drive back...I will be waiting until my 6 week appointment and my doctors approval after dealing with all that!

The main reason to wait is because your uterus/cervix is much more likely to get an infection. The "normal" is to wait 6 weeks to make sure your uterus is healed and you don't get an infection. 
Unfortunately, I did not follow my own advice and had sex at 4 weeks and I irritated things and started to bleed again :(

We ended up having sex 3 weeks post partum went well during lol but ever since we did it I feel like I've been having a lot of this water like discharge and soreness when I pee... Don't go to my Appoitment for another couple weeks.
