Week late! LH surge first time catching it on a OPK

I bought ovulation kits to try em out. I never caught a surge (I never used em very often which is why) but I am a week late for my period. I am never late. I got a positive test a day before my period. Got negative after that. Went to my dr got a negative pee test and went for blood, waiting on that.

So I decided to pee on my last ovulation kit and I actually got a positive for that! Does that mean my period should be coming soon?

Why would I get a positive ovulation test.

I’m Just frustrated. I need it to show up so I can continue on!

Like I said I am not this late ever. My cycle is 30-31 days.
