My son likes to cling onto me whenever we aren’t home. Yesterday we went to a friends birthday party and he wanted me to hold him the whole time. There was a lake and he loves water, yet he sat on my lap in the water and got so angry when I tried to take him off my lap and let him play in the super shallow water with sand. Also threw a fit last time we tried to go to the beach. If we go to the park I have to constantly be close and interacting even with other kids freely running and laughing and not clinging to their parents. I’m a SAHM and have been his whole existence but what do I do🥴🙃
