Pumping, indecent exposure?

So I’m at work and I needed to pump. I always go out to my car it’s more comfortable for me than a tiny office and I don’t feel the need to rush.

My co worker who is a male said he careful because technically pumping is indecent exposure. I said It’s not like my tits are fully out and I put something up in my window so no one can see.

He says people can still see when they go by Im just saying be careful and I was like I thought women could feed pump wherever they need to and he said yes but they’re supposed to at least cover up a little bit because it’s still exposure.

I am not taking my whole boob out and I still have a shirt on and nobody can see what I’m doing but jeez is this true? I thought there was no issue and if anyone was offended it was their problem not the mothers?!

Is this actually true?
