Can I take these meds??

Ok so I might be pregnant but it's still too early to test so I haven't. Yesterday I woke up with a sore throat and today was even worse. I drank lemon with honey to soothe it which helped a little.

Anyways I work at a doctors office and I'm not too comfortable to tell the doctor that I might be preggo. So when he heard me talking over the phone he told me to take Prednisone and Bactrim DS.

Is that ok to take?? My af won't be here till next week so I haven't tested to know for sure.
