Braxton Hicks?

What do Braxton Hicks feel like? I think I’m getting them and they are just tightening of my belly… it doesn’t hurt but they are freaking me as I’m a ftm. Do you guys get them daily? I just started feeling them yesterday

Yeah those are Braxton Hicks! I got them every day from like 25 weeks on with my first. Totally fine.

Yup, that’s what they feel like. I get them every day too. Not being hydrated enough and moving too much can trigger them but they aren’t dangerous.

I get them daily. My tummy just feels quite hard and I tend to get breathless. No pain, just feels odd until it passes

I never got them with my daughter but this pregnancy I have been since 16 weeks. Feels like I’m doing sit ups and the top of my belly is so tight. Contractions are more of a feeling in your uterus and lower belly.

I get them too; I noticed that I get them more if I’m over-doing it or when I’m a little dehydrated.

I go by the idea that BH start at the top of your belly and pull towards your belly button while real contractions start in your back and pull towards your thighs. Or at last that’s how my first 2 labors felt? Anyone agree?

Yup sounds like Braxton Hicks. Some moms get them some don’t. This is my second pregnancy and I am gettting them since 27 weeks which is way sooner than last time plus they are a lot more intense being this early on. Last pregnancy I got them around 33 weeks and they caused my to dilate to 2cm by 36 weeks. Will have them check me tomorrow just in case. Definitely more than uncomfortable this time around.. feels like Charlie horses almost .. painful aching. Getting them daily despite proper hydration. Every pregnancy and every woman is different.
