Weird period

So in November I had two periods which is weird for me then I wasn't supposed to start for 10 more days but I started today. I've lost some weight and been under a lot of stress. I'm on the pill but I was wondering if there were any other ways to maintain a regular period because since I am bleeding so much I'm becoming anemic
