Telling family/ friends??

How are y’all telling family or friends?? Or deciding to waiting?

I have had 2 miscarriages and one healthy baby boy and am now 4w2d. I’m probably going to tell my mom and sister in the next few days. They only know about one loss and if something bad happens again I will need their support as it’s incredibly hard and isolating going through losses alone and I don’t want to do that again. No matter what happens our baby is loved and to have others get to shower this little rainbow with love this early will be wonderful.

I’m having a hard time deciding on this one. I waited last time til I was like 8 weeks and then when I went to my first ultrasound at 10 weeks, my lil nugget didn’t have a heartbeat. So I’m torn. I really want to tell them for the support, but I don’t want them to worry too.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I definitely feel your pain. We told our family but no friends yet. However I did tell my best friend. I miscarried at 10 week also and I was so upset, it took almost a year to start trying again.

I’m going to wait until birth on social media do to multiple losses before . Just my in laws and my parents knowing

With our first we told everyone right away and we had a healthy baby boy who is now 3. Since then we had 3 losses and it was so hard on our family. This time we decided to wait until week 13, which would be right around my birthday. We are planning on telling them at my birthday dinner that I got a present that isn't coming until April. Hopefully they put it together 😂

I am pregnant with #3, and this will be the first time that my parents and sister are living close and I see them at least weekly instead of having to plan an announcement around a major holiday. We will tell my family and I will tell close friends within a week. Then gradually more. We probably won’t announce on social media or anything until after we know the gender and/or the anatomy scan is done.

After having issues previously and ending up in hospital for life saving emergency surgery as I had internal bleeding from a ruptured tube, I have decided to not make an announcement on social but I am telling close friends and family as I went through the ectopic completely isolated and it was awful and truly lonely. I respect those that want to wait but for me I want a close support group if anything was to happen xx

I only tell my parents and in-laws. However, I currently live overseas so I will tell two families we are close with because if anything happens…they will be my people. 
I’m a bit bummed out because here in Sweden they only do the first ultrasound at like 20 weeks. 😫

We’re waiting until our first scan to tell parents and close friends. We’ll announce more broadly shortly after that, but may wait until the second trimester. I guess it kind of depends on how I’m feeling throughout pregnancy and if I start showing more quickly this time.

I’ve never had a miscarriage but with my daughter we waited until we were out of the first trimester to say anything beyond family and close friends. I figured if no one could see then there was no rush and I really didn’t want to lose my baby. I’ll probably do the same thing this time. 12 weeks or so which feels like forever but it really isn’t in the long run.
