When to wean onto whole milk ?!

When did you start or going to start introducing whole milk . I looked online says your not suppose to untill 12 months ?!

My daughter will be 1 on Thursday but we already weaned her. We started like 2 weeks ago and she’s been completely weaned for a few days now

Our daughter turned 1 on Tuesday, and we started weaning her yesterday. We’re starting with her dinner bottle and replacing 2oz of breastmilk with 2oz of whole milk. Then we’ll up it to 4oz and then the full 6oz at which point she’ll also get a sippy cup. I counted how many bags of breastmilk are in the freezer and made a schedule based on that so she’ll be fully on whole milk and sippy cups in two weeks. If we had more breastmilk, I would have kept her on it longer, but we have just the right amount for a two week wean. I’m glad it’s not less than that, although she didn’t even notice the whole milk mixed in last night. Honestly, she eats so far that we could probably not even wean and she wouldn’t notice 🤣
