26 weeks = 3rd trimester?!

I thought the 3rd trimester started at the end of week 28...Glow is saying, "You're 26 weeks...welcome to your third trimester!" 😳🙊

This is my 5th pregnancy. I was always told that when you're 28 weeks that you are in your 3rd trimester. It's based off of a 40 week pregnancy cycle (10 months). Week 1-11 first trimester, week 12-27 second trimester, and week 28-40 third trimester. As a matter of fact, glow is the only app I have that says 26 weeks. What to expect says 28 also.

I guess, technically, if you do the math, you would begin your 3rd trimester at 26.66 weeks. So, once you start week 27 you've just entered the 3rd trimester. Obviously, that's getting really precise.
