Spider bite?

Anyone can help me is this bad?

I don't think it's a spider bite, of course I'm only 14, but my Mom would cut a potato and leave it on the bite for a while and when you take it off if there is a black spot it's was a spider bite. Plus if you got bite by a spider you would have two little dots close to each other, but I don't know that's what mom says.

Depends on the spider that bit you. 
Here in Texas we have one called a Brown Recluse. I have been bitten 3 times by this type and each time it got so infected so quickly. 2nd time I was hospitalized for a week because the doctors debated with me on what it was…and almost lost my lower half of my leg and was at high risk of a stroke because of the stress on my body due to delays in the proper medication (they gave me antibiotics, but not the correct ones so the antibiotics didn’t do much).
Best bet is if the swelling & redness hasn’t significantly reduced within 48 hours, get yourself to a doctor! In fact, I would make an appointment NOW and then cancel it if you don’t need it. Better safe than sorry. 🍀
