When to announce

I’m currently 5 weeks with 5 positive pregnancy tests. Is it to early to tell close friends and family before I’ve had any scans done?

with my first i told close family and my best friends right away, but announced publicly at about 12 weeks. i thought it was proper to wait, but this time around i realize that it’s my choice to share the excitement with everyone in my life and if i’m gonna miscarry it’s gonna happen whether i tell people or not. plus i was so excited this pregnancy i couldn’t keep my mouth shut. 😅

Totally up to when your comfortable. With my current I’m not telling anyone until after I have my cerclage placed. Congratulations 🎉

Announce it when you want. My first pregnancy everyone knew right away. It ended in miscarriage. My second I waited till 17 weeks. My current one I told everyone right away. I just decided doesn’t matter when I announce it, whatever happens is going to happen regardless.

Announce when you are ready, I told my very best friend when I was 5 weeks she's like a sister to me. I knew no matter what I'd want her support. I lost my baby at 12 weeks and she was there for me and my partner I couldn't have got through without her I'm so glad I told her when I did

It’s up to you. I decided to wait until my 8 week scan to announce to anyone, but at the scan they found no heartbeat. 
My second one I told close family at 5 weeks. I never announced publicly. But I lost that one at 16 weeks. 
It really depends on your comfort level.

Do it when you please. It will never change the outcome of your pregnancy. We told our family at 4 weeks, and announced publicly at 11 weeks.
