Has anyone tried a FET with a natural cycle?

Lasts cycle I had my first FET that was medically assisted. They were convinced the lining of my womb was viable so they assume for a reason they don’t know, it didn’t work. This was a 5AA. However this time I have the option of a natural cycle or a medically assisted one. And they’ll do more scans and checks for a natural cycle, the advantage being later in the trimester that there are less risks. I assume if progesterone isn’t high enough they can still start medicating if necessary. 
I’d be interested to know if anyone tried this and had success compared to a medically assisted FET, since the option for either is my choice.

I’ve done two medicated FET and both of them failed. My body just was not used to all the medication and for each of them I got so unwell. 
The one time I did a natural cycle (with progesterone) I got pregnant.

They give you progesterone in a natural cycle. The difference is that you'll ovulate so they won't give you estrogen at the start. A medicated cycle, ovulation is suppressed. If it were me, I would want to do an ERA test and then another medicated cycle using those results before changing protocol completely.

All my successful transfers have been natural cycles. They not necessarily do more monitoring. I believe there are 1-2 ultrasounds. One on day 3 of your period(your baseline). Then depending on blood work and when they believe you’ll ovulate, you get another ultrasound at CD10 or later. Once blood work confirms surge, you start progesterone about 1-2 days later and transfer 4-5 days later.

I should have said I’m in the UK so it’s not always quite the same. What’s an ERA test? 
He said they’d check my blood for progesterone - and I think only medicate it if it’s not high enough. In terms of my lining getting to the right thickness they said it did, so it didn’t fail because of that but there’s not much difference in chance, more that it requires more scans and the chance of raised blood pressure later in the pregnancy is reduced.
They’re not genetically tested and whilst they can they said they wouldn’t with them already frozen.
