8dpo vfl, bfn since then

This positive test was from 8dpo, definitely faint but definitely pink in person. I retested and BFN. AF is due tomorrow, I’ve been cramping for the past 4 days (currently 12dpo), and I usually spot for 2 days prior to AF, which has not happened yet. I’m so confused. Any advice? 😓
