FTM - possible csection

so i’m a first time mom. i’m almost 34 weeks and at an appt this past thursday baby was butt down still and my dr said he still has a possibility to flip, but if he doesn’t i could opt for a ecv, which has about a 50% chance of working. i also have an anterior placenta which i read decreases the chance of it working, also. i kinda have mentally prepared myself for this happening bc he hasn’t been head down except for at one ultrasound lol. which leaves me with a schedule c-section, which i’m totally okay with as it’s a better alternative to an emergency one.

i guess what i’m asking is if anyone has had a successful ecv? or if the cons outweigh the possibility of it working and just go ahead and plan for a c section if he doesn’t flip?

part of me is worried about what my body will look like after (which i know i shouldn’t i’m creating a human). i’m 23 and have weightlifted for 5 years and have throughout my entire pregnancy. i’m not stressed about the scar really. but also what changes to expect, if any? i know it varies from person to person.

i know this is long so if you got this far, thank you. ❤️
