When do you start BUYING seasonal home decor?

When it goes on sale after the specific holiday lol. I’m too cheap to buy anything full price. Unless I absolutely must have it.

I'm trying to halloween shop now but decor isn't out yet here. I saw a sneak peek of Michaels collection and I will be splurging the second I can get them. Halloween is my favorite holiday (and I even got stuff to have a mini Halloween tonight) so I start buying for it ASAP. I don't worry about Christmas until after Thanksgiving has passed already

I’ll start buying more decorations in September probably! That’s when Hobbly Lobby, At Home, and Tuesday Morning have everything out usually! 😍

If there's something I have to have (specifically Christmas, I dont really care as much for other holidays lol) I make note of it and next time I go to the store if it looks like it's pretty popular and won't last until the end of season I buy it, this year I know I want a new tree and outdoor lights that I missed out on last year because I waited to long 😅 otherwise I wait until things are on sale

I tend to buy just one thing per year for major holidays, since I don’t get much I don’t really care to wait until after the holiday in case it’s gone, but I do try to use a coupon if I can

Soooo I don’t decorate for Christmas. But I’m a huge Halloween nut. So I love when the stuff hits the shelves I decorated my house year round for Halloween.

If I see it out and I want to buy it, I buy it. I don't have a master schedule or anything. I also don't buy new things every year. Maybe a new thing or two every 3-5 years.
