My first child will end up calling me by my name
So I’m nearly 10 weeks pregnant with my first biological child. I have a 10 year old stepchild who calls me “Chaz” (short for Charlotte), and that’s fine by me, as my step daughter has both of her biological parents, and I don’t expect her to call me mum/mummy. But as my little one grows, it will call me by my name too, and that really does bother me. Instead, it’ll call my partner “mummy”. Any advice, or do I need to just accept it as what it is?
