My parents are insisting that my wife and I purchase a new house in a few years. We bought our house a couple of years ago and have put at least $10,000 into it fixing everything that was hidden during inspection, it was a flipped house. The way my wife and I feel is why would we move whenever we have already invested so much of our time and money into our home we have now, but our parents see it as a money-pit. Here are the unfixable cons we have run into.. Would you move in a few years, or continue to fix up the house and deal with the few downfalls of living here for the pros?

Cons: Steep driveway that car/work vehicle cannot get up and one set of lousy neighbors with 8+ dogs

Pros: two sets of really good neighbors, private dead end street, great neighborhood for children to ride bikes/go on walks, etc.
