Hi everyone,

Yesterday I used an at home fetal Doppler since my fiancé can’t come with me to the doctor due to COVID so I wanted him to be able to hear the heartbeat. However, now I’m reading there are concerns about heating tissue and such and I’m freaking out that I’ve hurt my baby. I only used it on and off for 8 min (I never stayed in the same place for more than a minute) and I don’t plan on using it again. Can anyone tell me if their OB said anything about at-home fetal Doppler and safety? I know they are worried it gives false reassurance or stresses you out but I’m more concerned about the potential harm to the baby. Thank you.
