He has HPV 1

So I’ve been talking to this guy that I met online about a year ago. We talk every day online we talk on FaceTime we talk on the phone all day all night. I recently told him about two months ago that I was in love with him and he said this whole time and he loved me. He’s literally become my best friend... he always ask about my 2 year old son . We have so much in common he’s so loving he’s so supportive he tells me every minute how he loves me and he always give me compliments on being a mother and how I’m such a great person and he tells me every day what he loves about me. He’s so damn honest about everything.

Anyways, we picked a date to meet which was suppose to be in 3 weeks. We’ve been talking about sex and when we meet up what we would like from each other and just past relationship issues we had in the bedroom so nothing is weird. He asked me do I wear condoms and I told him I haven’t in years because I was in a 10 year relationship before him. He did tell me one of his worries was me not enjoying the sex because he uses condoms at least at 1st. Even though I’m on birth control, I told him I’m OK with condoms... whatever makes him feel comfortable. He kept telling me that he was worried that I wouldn’t enjoy it because I’m not used to it, and he wanted to make sure he can pleasure me.

Well today he told me that he got tested about a week ago and tested positive for HPV 1. He said he originally went to go get tested in case he didn’t want to wear condoms just so it doesn’t affect my pleasure I get out of the sex, but he found out he’s positive for HPV 1

He cried when he told me over the phone. He said that he did not know how to tell me but he knew he had to once we had talked about dates of meeting each other.

He said he’s going to have a follow up appointment in person on Monday.

I just don’t know what to do. While he’s talking to me initial reaction was to just go on Google and figure out can you have a relationship with someone who has is and how does that affect being together. I’m absolutely in love with him. What do I do ??
