Think of them as badges of honor. I had bariatric surgery and have a ton of loose skin still around. That is how I try to think about my skin. Badges of honor that show what I have accomplished. Same goes for pregnancy stretch marks.

I have lines like that above my belly button. Aside from the wrinkly skin I have, you can barely tell they’re there. You look amazing! After baby those little lines will fade to almost nothing and I bet you won’t be able to tell you have the unless you really look for them.

Girl. If that’s all you have one your second, you’re blessed. 
But stop being sad. Your body is adapting to allow a tiny human to grow in you. My tummy is literally covered in stretch marks from my first, and all I can do is just accept them. They’ll fade with time, but they’re there now.
