Has anybody ever done a IUI with Medi-cal Insurance ?

If so- how much out of pocket did you pay? I only have Medi-cal and tried to look into what it will cover and I can’t find anything based on IUI’s online . I’m from the Bay Area - California - hope I can get some answers …..

I don’t have the same insurance as you…but I had to pay full price for mine. Insurance only covered testing.

Yes, I’m in Maryland. With my insurance I only pay a co pay for medications, which is about $10 per medication. I used clomid, ovidrel, and prometrium and all three were about $30 total. Aside from that I have a $20 copay per visit. You may have 2+ monitoring visits per IUI and then another visit for the day of IUI.
