I'm back!!....clomid???

Question

After taking a break from ttc and tracking and temping and all that good stuff. I'm back!  I need input on clomid the good the bad and the ugly. I'm about to start taking it. Just wondering what everyones experiences were like?

I’ve done 15 medicated cycles, Clomid & Femara. The medication is only to assist ovulation, actually getting pregnant is another story. So if the medication is making you ovulate, that’s a success in itself. I’ve found that Clomid is a bit more harsh compared to Femara. But generally had the same side effects. For me mainly was hot flashes, headaches, mood swings and of course more intense ovulation pain. Make sure you are actively tracking ovulation on medicated cycles so you can time intercourse accordingly. Your only allowed so many medicated cycles a year so if you are doing them you want to really try your hardest.
