When to start using shampoo /conditioner?

Ftm... My LO is currently 15 months and we're using Mustela as the shampoo and body wash right now. When did everyone start using regular shampoo /conditioner with your LO?

We used to use Johnson and Johnson for soap and hair, but I switched to dove as it was drying out my daughter's hair. The baby dove is all we use for body and hair. Works great. 
We also use a spray leave in conditioner afterward for brushing, which also probably helps with moisturizing. Both kiddos have great hair and skin.

Our son is 3 and still using Aveeno baby wash for hair and body 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t use any soap or shampoo at all on my two year old, and her hair is super shiny and soft.

I started using conditioner on my daughter around 9 months. Her hair was noticeably dry. I just switched to regular shampoo recently, at 19 months.
