Yesterday I took my 2 year old to a family doctor that is also a friend. I trust him with my life but yesterday he was off his game. He didn’t check her vitals on the chart at all. I know because I brought up her temp and he’s like wait what was it? And then looks and is surprised that it was 103. He gave us a Z pack and sent us home. Told me to use Tylenol. I have no issue with that. He just looked in her ears but didn’t check her breathing or anything. Today she is a lot worse. Hard to wake, when she does wake she is out of it. She’s got a high temp again. Only wanting to be in my arms. Not eating but is drinking water. Complaining of a headache, has a dry cough and just looks so ill. Should I take her to the urgent care? I’m worried her temp will get super high higher than 103 today
