ACOG recommends vaccine
I want to post this because I understand the hesitation, but I know people who work in major hospitals and the sight of pregnant woman on ventilators after a premature c-section, while their babies are in the nicu, is one of the hardest images to shake, I’m told. My SIL says she sees a lot of pregnant women in the weeks 20-40 in serious trouble from covid. She would never tell me what to do, but she told me, “ you cannot get covid while pregnant [meaning she wants me to be very careful and doesn’t want to see me in the hospital].” She is genuinely concerned. I got the vaccine in my second tri basically as soon as I was eligible, so clear how I feel. If I can convince one person on this thread to get it then I’ll call it a success.
