If you had these two options, what would you choose?

I'm really not sure what I'd pick. We had this debate at work and a lot of people picked to be rich but very unhappy!

I’ve been poor my whole life, I know I’ll survive if I never get rich. I’m very happy with my husband and having money wouldn’t mean a damn thing if I was miserable.

This is one of those topics that can never be answered. 
If a person is rich enough, they could buy their happiness. But it will be superficial and they will never be truly happy.
If you are poor and experience the common stress of that type of situation, then happiness will be what they find or interpret it to be because they choose that. 
Either way, when it comes down to it, the point of living is to find true happiness. For some people that will be having money and stuff and some people that will be giving everything they have to others in need or anything in between. Doesn’t matter as long as you find your happiness.

Difficult because you want to be happy but if your rich you can afford some of the best therapists in order to help you be happy? So……. 
And you can do activities to help that to? 
Happiness is learnt and found in enjoyment. You can Pursue it but may not find it.

Being poor is a way of life for me at this point and I manage to be a happy person 😂 so yeah I guess I’d just take the being happy over being miserable part because I’m used to being poor anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

Neither.  I love my life now😍 I guess I’m considered “rich,” to some. But it’s all relative obv.  We have plenty of money and super happy!

I don’t know the real reality but people can make your life happy or miserable. The more money you have the  more lonely you are. Obviously there’s no person who can be rich and truly happy as we can see in the Bible but I wouldn’t also say that the poor person enjoys his dilemma but at least when he dies he knows what he’s dying for. The rich will leave the money behind but the poor, people they love… Idk

I have been the poorest of the poor...I am now comfortable and married into a insanely wealthy family, many of whom aren't happy. I would take living in my car again but happy over a mansion with millions but miserable any day. My sil can fly to bora bora whenever and drives a Lamborghini Urus that they bought in in full but she is unhappy and cries herself to sleep often. In the end her money buys expensive band aids for pain and.not much else. I'll take a happy life every time personally.
