Friends with benefits

So, I have this friend group and it consisted of me and my good friend , and this other guy and his good friend . I ended up talking/flirting with one of the guys and my friend did the same with the guys friend. However , We both aren’t on those terms with them anymore. We are all just friends now. The guy that I had a thing withs friend is always mentioning friends with benefits now, I feel like he’s hinting at me. We both have an attraction to each other and we both know it , but we don’t say anything . Is it horrible of me to start being friends with benefits with him? Because I’d be kinda screwing over my friend , but he’d be screwing over his too ? Helpppp😩
