How much was your hospital bill for delivery?

I’m curious as to how much Out of Pocket costs were for you mamas with insurance for your labor and delivery?
I thought I had good insurance. Low deductible, but the co-insurance is kicking in and I’m owing like $3,500!!! I can’t believe it.

This baby is only costing me $1530 which is basically my deductible. And thankfully we have our HSA card for that. I’m having my baby at a birth center so the costs are traditionally lower than at a hospital. This is also my last baby.

Here in Europe: When I arrived to the Hospital I had no insurance and had to pay €1200 deposit + when I was leaving the hospital €249. I had non-medicated natural birth. In yotal I paid €1449, this just the basic amount for delivery ( This is 3 month salary here 🙄).
While in the hospital I paid for  insurance, €44 a month, and was able to return the amount paid in the Hospital 🙂

With my first we didn’t have insurance and it was just under $10,000 but we did have a longer stay and I was induced twice. We have insurance this time and I’m still waiting on my bill. 😅

We only owe $110…insurance didn’t cover the whole hospital stay.

My deductible was $2500 which I paid from my HSA. They cover 100% of costs after my deductible so I only owe $129 to my doctor for the remainder of my deductible. 
With my first I paid over $6k out of pocket.
