Yeah actually, it was given to me before I left the hospital by the staff, though I love in Germany with my husband (who's German) and our new two (going to be three weeks old tomorrow) week old baby, she's our first and dosent really have a problem with the meds

Yes, i had low vitamin D my whole pregnancy even with the vitamin supplements I took.
The vitamin D I got came as a liquid in a bottle and I would just put a drop on my nipple prior to feeding. 
There’s a whole heap of research being done at the moment investigating whether low vitamin D is a contributing factor to allergies in kids, the current belief is that there may be a correlation.
